Lois June Garber, age 92, of Warsaw, IN passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 12:05 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on June 18, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Elsie (Everett) Porter. On October 6, 1945 she was united in marriage to Harold A. “Bud” Garber in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She has been a resident of Warsaw since 1945. During her life she worked as a seamstress, homemaker, and even made bombs for WWII in Kingsbury, IN. She was a member of First Brethren Church, Warsaw as well as the Kosciusko County Home Extension Club. In addition, she was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, making doll clothes and was known as “Mrs. Sew & Sew”. She loved cooking, candy making, woodworking and making doll houses, but she especially loved her family dearly. She is survived by her Daughters; Judy (spouse Gary) Lemons of Ft. Wayne, IN, Janet (spouse Terry) Hygema of Citrus Springs, FL, Doris (spouse Darmon) Bush of Warsaw, IN, Penny (spouse Rob) Adams of Warsaw, IN, 15 Grandchildren, Numerous Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 68 years; Bud, 1 Brother, 1 Sister, 1 Grandchild, and 1 Great-Grandchild. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Larry J. Weirick will officiate the Funeral Service.
