Lisa A. Hernandez, 46, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, surrounded in the love of her family.
Born in Rochester, Indiana on September 28, 1978, Lisa was the daughter of Terie (Vigar) Holloway.
She enjoyed her job as a customer service specialist at Creighton Brothers in Warsaw, until she had to step down due to health reasons.
Lisa had a wonderful sense of humor and you could always count on her for some goofy times. Her daughters meant everything to her, they were her whole world. She made sure to instill in them that family is everything and to always stay close and love each other endlessly. While she loved her daughters, everyone knew that her grandchild and niece were her weakness and stole her heart.
She was very good at word games, winning often, and enjoyed a challenging sudoku. Family game nights were always a great time, and Lisa liked to do puzzles with her daughter Lexi and crocheting. Her most cherished vacations as of recent were to Holiday World in 2023 in Santa Claus, Indiana and a family trip to Tennessee.
Lisa is deeply missed by her daughters: Ashley (Noah Tucker) Patino of Warsaw, Amber (Craig) Patino Lenig of Rochester, and Alexis “Lexi” Hernandez of Warsaw; the granddaughter that lit up her life, Nichole “Nikki” Tucker; sisters: Katina Davis of Peru, Amanda (Chris) Clabaugh of Pierceton, and Jessica (Michael) Davis Crum of Inwood; nephew, Scott Sanchez of Peru, and adored niece, Kinsley Clabaugh of Pierceton.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Terie and Richard Holloway, and maternal grandfather, Harley Vigar.
Per her wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Lisa’s Life will take place at a later date.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, to help with funeral costs.
