Lillian L. Lozier, 90, of Warsaw, died Thursday August 25, 2022 at Millers Merry Manor. Lillian was born in Warsaw on April 18, 1932, the daughter of (the late) Samuel LeRoy Evans and Lizzie Ellen (Foreman) Evans and she graduated from Claypool High School with the Class of ’50, where she was voted Miss Claypool in her sophomore year. Lillian married Frederick A. Lozier on March 18, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 8, 1989 after 38 years of marriage. Lillian was active in her church, Warsaw Community Church and formerly at North Winona Church of the Brethren; she was a greeter, welcoming people and serving coffee, anything to be of assistance to others. She was a homemaker and later a home health care provider. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother who cherished the time she spent with family & friends, enjoyed travelling especially their trips to Hawaii, Florida and cruises; she liked the beaches and being around the water. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Lillian is survived by, and will be dearly missed, by her son, Steven Lozier and daughter, Stacy Ritenour, both of Warsaw; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Lozier of Warsaw and Dreama Lozier of Pierceton; her grandchildren, A.J. (Gracia) Lozier & Rachelle “Shelly” (Jose) Rosario, both of Warsaw, Anthony, Brittany & Cameron Ritenour, all in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Dylan Ritenour of Bristol, Shaun (Brittney) Gardner of Leesburg, Adam (Montana) Gardner of Warsaw, Scott Gardner of Pierceton & Samuel Lozier of Pierceton; great-grandchildren, Lily, Aiden, Maddox & Warrick Lozier, Ella & Evie Gonzalez, Rocco Rosario, Keagan, Addison & Zoey Gardner, Helena & Eleanor Gardner and one great-great-grandchild “on the way”. Lillian is also survived by her brother, Ralph Evans of Warsaw; sisters, Mary Beth (Jack) Camden of Pierceton and Thelma Boyer of Warsaw, and many beloved nieces and nephews . In addition to her parents and her husband, Lillian was also preceded in death by sons, Stanley Lozier & Samuel Lozier; brothers, Earl, Russell and Charles Evans and sisters, Ruby Drane, Julia Morts & May Beigh. Funeral Services 1:00PM Tuesday August 30, 2022 at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Ct. with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 11-1 in the funeral home.
