Lila J. Wease

Lila J. Wease, age 78, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, IN passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 7:15 PM in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, IN. She was born March 8, 1933 in Napoleon, OH to Arthur and Pauline (Henrich) Babcock. Lila was a Grace Village resident since 2010 and was formerly a resident of Ellenton, FL. On July 22, 1950 in Yuma, AZ she was united in marriage to Hugh D. Wease who preceded her in 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Parrish, FL. Lila is survived by daughters Cynthia (spouse Walter) Scott of Marion, IN, Cary (spouse Terry) Schlotterback of Leesburg, IN; a son Mark (spouse Ellen) Wease of Leesburg, IN; sisters Linda Fruth of Ellenton, FL, Sharon (spouse Richard) Fredrick of Parrish, FL, Diane (spouse Jerry) Panning of Hudson, WI; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, two grandchildren also preceded her. Services will be held in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 5:30 PM. Calling hours are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM on Monday. The Reverend Corinne Hodges of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church will officiate the services.
