Letha F. Hamman, 87, of 3762 West Old Road 30, Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/11/2009 at 10:45 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on February 23, 1921 in Seward, Indiana. Letha was born to Roy O. and Nellie (Igo) Walters. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. She married Richard Hamman on December 13, 1941 in Mishawaka, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1995.Letha was retired from the Warsaw Parks Department. She was a member of St Annes Episcopal Church, Warsaw, Past Worthy Matron of EOS, Past President of American Legion Auxiliary and Chaplain of American Legion Auxiliary. Letha was also a member of VFW, Ladies Moose, Crystal Lake Home-Ec Club, where she was named Homemaker of the Year in 2001 and also White Shrine of Elkhart.Letha is survived by1 Daughter; Linda L. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
