Lester 'Bud' E. Menzie

Lester 'Bud' E. Menzie, 79, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 9/19/2010 at 8:40 pm at Parkview Hospital of Ft. Wayne. He was born on July 11, 1931 in Columbia City, Indiana. Lester “Bud” E. Menzie was born to John and Edith (Whiteleather) Menzie. He lived in Pierceton, Indiana since 1976. He was formerly of Larwill, Indiana. On May 15, 1959, Bud married Alice Eman in Olympia, Washington. He worked for Kolbin Tool Die as a machine operator and retired in 2002. Bud was a member of The American Legion Post 256. He is survived by his wife, Alice Menzie of Pierceton, Indiana; 2 sons: Brian (Valerie) Menzie of Columbia City, Indiana and Jeffery (Mardelle) Menzie of Warsaw, Indiana. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Marilynne Ramp of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and Joyce (Keith) Clelane of Pierceton, Indiana. He had 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by 1 sister. Bud was a Korean War Veteran - U.S. Army - Sgt. Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Burial will be at Larwill Cemetery - Larwill, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Pierceton is in charge of arrangements.
