Leonard Estep

Leonard Estep, 90, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 9/19/2010 at 3:30 pm at Mason Heathcare Center, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on March 27, 1920 in Leesburg, Indiana. Leonard was born to Curtis and Flossie (Scoels) Estep. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana graduationg from Pierceton High School in 1938. He also attended Purdue University.He married Ruby “Eileen” (Kelley) Lichtenwalter on April 27, 1979 in Warsaw. Leonard worked for Nickel Plate Railroad from 1950 - 1962 and then was a self employed excavating contractor for 30 years.He loved snowmobiling, antique tractors and was an outside general tinkerer. Leonard was a member of Echoes of the Past Antique Tractor Organization and Two Cylinder Club.Leonard is survived by his Wife; Ruby “Eileen” Estep, WarsawSon; Mickey Estep, WarsawBrother; Russell Clarence Estep, San Jose, California3 Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by 2 Sisters. Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Andy Martin officiating.. Calling hours will be 9:00 - 11:00 am at the church on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 . Burial will be at Etna Green Cemetery, Etna Green, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
