Lenore (June) Seef, age 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 24th, 2026 at Majestic Care of Goshen, Indiana.
June was born on January 9th, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Mary Veronica Heath (Beggs) and William Clarence Heath.
June was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and a wonderful friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. She loved to crochet, she was a talented musician and played the organ, she loved to read, bake, and cook. June was an avid gardener and she also worked at a local florist for many years honing her green thumb. She also worked for Jewel Food Stores and her local Hallmark with a heart of service to her community. Perhaps where June’s most memorable and best work was done was in her home, cultivating and caring for her family whom she loved so very much.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Herman Lawrence Seef, her cherished brother Donald J. Heath, and loving Son-in-Law, Timothy F. McCoy.
She is survived by her children Linda (Tim) McCoy, Kathleen (Paul) Blevins, Lawrence (Diane), and Krista (Joseph) Zilinsky. She is the cherished grandmother of David (Rachel) McCoy, Julie (Jamie) Poore, Brianne (David) Prince, Ian Blevins, Kendra (Chris) Ford, Bryan Seef, Claire Seef, and Gabby Warren. She was the proud Great-Grandmother to Luke, Jonah, Andrew, Chloe, Trent, Foster, Jake, Cody, DJ, Jack, and Aidan.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of her family and all of the friends she made throughout her beautiful life.
Per her wishes, cremation will take place and private family services will be held.
