Lennis Marie Carrothers Wise , 87, of 2640 E 550 S Warsaw, Indiana 46580, died on 11/12/2009 at 7:25 AM at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1922 in Wabash County, Indiana. Lennis went to be with her Lord.She was born to the late Carl and Rhoda (Bacon) Carrothers.Her step-father was Ralph Brown he preceded in 1978She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko county. She was a graduate of Claypool High School. Lennis was married to Leonard E. Wise for 67 years he died on December 12, 2003. She retired from Da-Lite Screen Company, a homemaker and she catered weddings. She was a member of the Packerton United Methodist Church for 50+ years, Monroe Hilltopper's Home-Ec, Sidney War Mothers Group. She also attended Victory Rock Church. Longtime 4-H leader, and many other various organizations along with volunteering. Survivor are two sons Dexter Wise of Mentone, Indiana and Doug (Tammy) Wise of Warsaw, Indiana. One daughter Carrol Sue Hawkins of Warsaw, IndianaFour sisters Laura, Mary, Thelma and June16 grandchildren18 great grandchildren4 great great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her parents, husband a son (Maurice “Skip” Wise of Oklahoma), a grand daughter two sisters and one brother. Pastors Bill Wood and Noel Reed will officiate Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Pierceton on Monday November 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be 1-5 pm on Sunday November 15, 2009. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery - Pierceton, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Pierceton is in charge of arrangements.
