Ledford Hensley

Ledford Hensley, 82, passed away December 11, 2015 around 8:30 PM at Signature Healthcare of Bremen, where he resided for the last 2 ½ months of his life. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Merline who resides in Warsaw. He will be dearly missed by all of his family. He worked at Schraders Automotive for 20 years and then started Ledford’s Gun and Pawn Shop, where he met so many nice people. He always treated his renters and clients at Ledford’s with respect and was rewarded by God with good health until the last 5 or so years, so we were blessed. He leaves behind 5 children, Ruby Schooley in California, Toni Archer, Cindy (and spouse Rick) Heckaman, Marvin (and spouse Kim) Hensley and Carla Marie (and spouse Tim) Lowman, 10 grandkids and 11 great grandkids all of Warsaw. He lived in Warsaw for at least 58 years. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and is the last of his immediate family left except for a few nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A graveside service will be held Wednesday December 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Greg Demopoulos officiating.
