Laveral W. Bert Ransbottom, 86 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 2:37 am Monday, September 7, 2015 in Grace Village Retirement Center, Winona Lake, Indiana. On December 25, 1928, he was born in Kosciusko County to Melvin and Almeda (Sisk) Ransbottom. He was united in marriage to Ella Mae Shilling on October 23, 1949 in Palestine, Indiana, who survives. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Bert worked for Dalton Foundry, as a forklift operator, for forty two years. He also worked for Kosciusko County Highway Department, on the mowing crew and The Fitness Shop, in maintenance. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Claypool and Claypool Lions Club. He was also a former volunteer firefighter for the Claypool Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Ella Mae Ransbottom, Winona Lake; four children, Cindy Gates, Warsaw, Roger (and spouse Dawn) Ransbottom, Warsaw, Sally (and spouse Rex) Gradeless, Auburn and Kathy (and spouse Gary) Sponseller, Etna Green. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Rhonda (and spouse Rene), Steven, Cheyenne (and spouse Justin), Karrin, Tyvan (and spouse Nicolette), Daren (and spouse Rachel), Wendy (and spouse Clark Ross), Rex II, Kyle (spouse Mai), Amy (and spouse Jeremy), Barry and eleven great grandchildren, Diego, Jordy, Aleah, Jake, Jenna, Kylie, Colt, Oaklee, Ella, Hailey and Abbie. Burt was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2015 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Mike Settles officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2015 in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Kosciusko County Homecare and Hospice, P.O.
