Laura A. Byrd, 46, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 11/29/2010 at 7:20 am at her residence. She was born on July 3, 1964 in Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, IN. Laura A Byrd, 46, passed away November 29, 2010 at 7:30 am in her Hoffman Lake residence of rural Warsaw, IN. She succumbed after a two and one-half year battle with leukemia. She was born to Charles L. and Sandra L. (Keiper) Carnes. She was employed by Stacy’s Sports Inn of Leesburg, IN as a waitress. She is survived by two sons Christopher Byrd of Warsaw, IN and Matthew Byrd of Jeffersonville, IN.; her parents Charles and Sandra Carnes of Warsaw, IN; one sister Linda (Carnes) Rummer of Warsaw, IN; and two brothers Steve (spouse Lillian) Carnes of Burkett and Dave Carnes of Leesburg, IN. Funeral service will be privately held and not open to the public. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Burial will be private.
