Larry "Doug" Ousley

Larry Douglas “Doug” Ousley, 71, of Pierceton, died Friday October 7, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Columbia City.

Doug was born June 17, 1951 in Prestonsburg KY, the son of (the late) George W. and Julie (Owsley) Ousley. He graduated from High School in Prestonsburg and on October 16, 1971, Doug married Rebecca (Kemery) Ousley. Doug was retired and enjoyed hunting & fishing.

He is survived by Rebecca Ousley, his wife of 50 years, and their sons; Jason Douglas Ousley of Huntington, Chad Allen (Audree) Ousley of Loon Lake in Columbia City and Jeffrey Lee Ousley of Pierceton; his grandchildren, David Ousley in Huntington, Trinity Ousley in Pierceton and Piper & Mayva Ousley in Columbia City; brothers, Troy (Rhonda) Ousley of Leesburg and Ellis Ousley of North Webster and his sister, Stella Faye (Edward) Shepherd of Pierceton. In addition to his parents, Doug was also preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Ousley, Calvin Ousley, and Adis Ousley; sisters, Marie Elise England and Ethel Grace Gruber.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8pm Tuesday October 11, 2022 at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, 105 S. First St. in Pierceton. A private family graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery.
