Larry D. Oswalt

Larry D. Oswalt, 77 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 10:44 pm Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in his residence. On October 19, 1937, he was born in Warsaw, Indiana to Virgil and Pauline (Barth) Oswalt. He was united in marriage to Pauline Lovely in Pierceton, Indiana on February 7, 1981. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2012. A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Larry had worked for various companies throughout his life, including Dalton Foundry, J.M. Gravel Pit, Barth R.V. and Ameri–Kan, where he worked until 2005. He loved racing cars at the Warsaw Speedway in the 1960’s and the early 1970’s. Larry is survived by his children, Steve (and spouse Kathy) Oswalt, Talma, Lori (and spouse Tracey) Quier, Claypool, Rick (and spouse Tamara) Schuh, Tippecanoe, Mike (and spouse Charlotte) Schuh, Warsaw and Wanda (and spouse Rex) Parrett, Larwill; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Oswalt, Warsaw; his uncle, John Wolf, Michigan; twenty six grandchildren and fifty five great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his son, Mark Oswalt, his brother, Bobby Oswalt, three sisters, Marilyn Oswalt, Virginia Schuh and Rose Tillman. Larry was loved by his family and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be at 12:00 noon, Thursday, December 4, 2014 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Rex Parrett officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation hours will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Larry D.
