Lance K. Clay, 54, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 3/14/2010 at 12:01 pm at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on October 3, 1955 in Warsaw, Indiana. Lance was born to Marvin and Shirley (Holder) Clay. He lived most of his life in Warsaw, Indiana. On September 19, 2006, he married Geneva Ousley in Warsaw, Indiana. He was an Assistant Golf Pro for Orchard Ridge Country Club, a Sales Manager for 7-UP, and a Route Manager for Aratek Industrial Means (retired in 1990). Lance was a member of the Victory Rock Church in Pierceton, Indiana. He was a member of The American Legion Post #49 in Warsaw, Indiana. Lance was an avid golfer, card player and Notre Dame fan. He loved music and trivia. He was on the Warsaw Community High School golf team from 1973-1974. During his golf career, he made 5 holes in 1; 2 holes were made while he was legally blind. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Clay of Warsaw, Indiana. Also survived by: 2 Step Children: Pamela Manuel of Warsaw, Indiana and Matthew Manuel of Warsaw, Indiana; 1 Granddaughter: Danielle Manuel Ousley of Warsaw, Indiana; Father: Marvin Clay of Warsaw, Indiana; 1 Brother: Lonnie Clay of Warsaw, Indiana; 3 Sisters: LeeAnn Galbreath of Noblesville, Indiana; Mrs. Bill (Lynn) Leslie, Burket, Indiana; Lana Neff of Naperville, Illinois. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, 1 step child (Sandra Manuel), and 1 nephew. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Burial will be at Mentone Cemetery; Mentone, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
