L. Maxine Pifer, age 92, of Warsaw, IN passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012 at 6:07 PM in Mason Healthcare and Rehabilitation Warsaw. She was born November 30, 1919 in Kosciusko County, IN to Charles and Belle (Daughtery) Pinkerton. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She married Anthony Wayne Pifer November 17, 1940 who preceded her in 1988 and then married John Kehoe in Warsaw, In on October 9, 1993. She is a retired Administrative Assistant for Zimmer, INC with 18 years of service. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Warsaw and the Sacred Heart Rosary Altar Society. In addition, she attended Trinity United Methodist Church of Warsaw. She is survived by her husband John Kehoe of Warsaw, IN, children Steve (spouse Lois) Pifer of Savannah, GA, Doug (companion Kim) Pifer of Warsaw, IN, and Carolyn (spouse Mike) Lutes of Warsaw, IN; step-children Dixie (spouse Jim) Kraus of Warsaw, IN, Pam (spouse Dick) Craig of South Bend, IN and Connie (spouse Bruce) Hayden of Warsaw; a sister Louise Miller of Leesburg, IN; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday October 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Warsaw. Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 5:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 4:30 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Sunday October 28, 2012. Father Phil DeVolder will officiate the Mass.
