Kay Caudill, age 60, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 8:00 AM in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was born May 10, 1955 in Columbia City, IN to Harold and Ileana “Jake” Brandenburg. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was united in marriage to Russell Miller on November 8, 1980 who passed away May 18, 1993 she then wed David Caudill on April 10, 2005, who survives. She obtained a Bachelors and Master’s Degree as Registered Nurse and was Director of Nursing at Wabash Skilled Care. She enjoyed traveling and loved the sun and water. She was noted to be a hard worker with a giving heart and was particular fond of her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband David Caudill of Warsaw; children Brandi (spouse Rich) Wine of Chapel Hill TN, Staci Bailey of North Manchester, IN, Kevin (spouse Trisha) Miller of Brownsburg, IN, James (spouse Mindy) Miller of Brownsburg, IN, Samantha Wert of Silver Lake, IN, Mark (spouse Dawn) Miller of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mat (spouse Connie) Miller of New Carlisle, IN, Shelly (spouse David) Cunningham of North Manchester, IN, Greg (spouse Jill) Caudill of Ft. Wayne, IN, Austin (spouse Ashley) Caudill of Warsaw, IN, Nikki Caudill of Warsaw, IN and Lou (spouse Claude) Clark of Warsaw, IN. Furthermore, a brother Rob (spouse Jimm) Brandenburg of Ft. Wayne, IN and sisters Bonnie Brandenburg of North Manchester, IN and Lind (spouse Mike) Renschler of South Whitley, IN survive. She was blessed with 30 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to Russell she was preceded by her parents and one brother Harold Brandenburg, Sr. Visitation hours are scheduled from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday with Pastor JP Freeman officiating in the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, IN. The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, 5910 Homestead Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
