Katherine Phillips

Katherine M. Phillips, 65, of Mentone, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Katherine was born on April 23, 1959 in Warsaw, Indiana the daughter of DeLouse and Esther (Hyde) Zimmerman. She was united in marriage to Bud Phillips on May 16, 2007 in Warsaw.

She was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School.

She worked as a housekeeper at Comfort Inn, and in her earlier years she worked for Pizza Hut and Kimble Glass. She enjoyed being with her dogs, the pit bulls she raised and spending time with her family, friends and coworkers.

Katherine will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bud Phillips, Mentone, IN, 4 sons; Tim Perkins, Mentone, IN, Cameron (Kim) Phillips, Peru, IN, Jacob (Maranda) Hale, Penn and Jamie Phillips, OH, 2 daughters; Amber Avery, Silver Lake, IN, Sarah Phillips, OH. Her mother Esther Zimmerman, Warsaw, IN, and a brother Jim Zimmerman, Mentone, IN and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her father DeLouse Zimmerman.

Funeral services in celebration of Katherine’s life will be private.
