Judy A. Cord

Judy A. Cord, age  85, of Winona Lake, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 9:15 AM in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. Judy was born July 21, 1935 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Ralph E. and Olive B. (Dill) Worland. She was united in marriage to Robert S. Cord on October 31, 1954 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Shelbyville, Indiana. He proceeded her in death on May 28, 2015. She was a 1953 graduate from Shelbyville High School and continued her education at Indiana University. She was an avid Quilter and a longtime member of the Warsaw Arts & Crafts Club. Judy is survived by daughter, Bambi (James) Maze, Warsaw, IN; son, Jeff (Diane) Cord, Shreveport, LA;  three grandchildren, Zack (Tricia) Maze, Long Grove, IL, Brooke (Travis) Moore, Huntington, IN,  and Rebecca Cord, Lafayette, LA. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Haylee, Evan, Breanna, and Avery. She  was preceded in death by husband, Robert “Bob” Cord; grandson, Jeff Cord Jr.; two sisters, Millie Wagner, Naples, FL, and Beverly Evans, Orroville, CA. Celebration of Life Services will be private.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted to arrangements.
