Joyce Arnett, age 72, of Pierceton, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:32 PM in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on October 12, 1945 in Prestonsburg, KY to Richard and Aggie (Poe) Gibson. She was a resident of Pierceton and was formerly of Warsaw. On May 24, 1963 she was united in marriage to Carl Arnett in Celina, TN. She worked for 33 years at Jomac Sewer as a Trainer. She was a member of Harvest Community Church, Pierceton and participated in Ladies Sewing Club and Ladies Devotional Group. In addition, she was the head cook at multiple church camps and was a coordinator for the Pierceton Summer Free Lunch Program. She is survived by her Husband; Carl Arnett of Pierceton, Children; Tina (spouse Wayne) Burkhart of Columbia City, IN, Kristi (spouse Patrick) Higgins of Warsaw, Sherri (spouse Chris) Shepherd of South Whitley, IN, Staci (spouse Jason) Sigler of Syracuse, In, Sisters; Becky (spouse Gary) Krotke of Laketon, IN, Dottie (spouse Bill) Teeter of North Manchester, IN, 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by 2 Sisters, 5 Brothers, and a Grandchild; Chase Higgins. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM in Harvest Community Church, Pierceton, IN. Visitation will be three hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Harvest Community Church, Pierceton. Pastor Glenn Hall will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, IN.
