Joy Ann Conley

Joy Ann Conley, 85, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on April 1, 1936, in Fayette, Alabama, Joy was the daughter of Murray and Vaudean  (Sayers) Rutledge. She was a graduate of Berry High School in Alabama. Joy began her employment at Uniroyal in 1967, retiring with 34 years of service. She was formerly employed for 10 years as an operator for phone company. Joy will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Terry (Lorie) Conley of Atlanta, GA, Jason (Katie Paulus) Conley of Warsaw, and Stephen (Joanna) Hathaway of Ligonier; one sister, Sherry White of Columbia, TN, one brother, Ken Rutledge of Huron, S.D.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by both parents, one brother, Rick Rutledge, and two sisters, Wanda Dickey and Hope Jones. A visitation is planned from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 3, 2022, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A memorial service in celebration of her life will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel. Pastor Bob Brown will be officiating. Interment will be private at a later date. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
