Josephine Blackburn, 68, of 2436 East 225 South, Warsaw, Indiana, died on 5/22/2009 at 8:23 am at her residence. She was born on March 26, 1941 in Floyd County, Kentucky. Josephine was the daughter of Jim Henry and Ida (Marsillett) Hughes. She has lived in Kosciusko County since 1959.She married Thurman Blackburn on November 5, 1960 in Clintwood, Virginia. Josephine was retired from Sofamar-Danek Manufacturing, Winona Lake, Indiana where she worked as a packager. She was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw,Indiana.She is survived by herHusband; Thurman Blackburn, Warsaw,Indiana2 Daughters; Thelma Sue (Kevin) Kersey, Warsaw,IndianaVicki Lynn (Robert) Johnson, Leesburg, Indiana1 Son; Ricky Dean (Zona) Blackburn, Warsaw, Indiana2 Brothers; Malcolm (Ann) Hughes, Warsaw, IndianaBill Hughes, Virginia9 Grandchildren; Jacqueline, Jessica, Trey, Tyler, Kirk, Damion, Amber, Ashley and Abigail.1 Great Granddaughter; Jazmyne1 Brother-In-Law; Green Miller, Warsaw, IndianaShe is preceded in death by 4 Sisters and 2 Brothers. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 10:00 am with Pastor Glen Hughes officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Monday, May 25, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
