Joseph Prater, 34, of 4517 East 500 South Warsaw, Indiana, died on 5/27/2009 at 12:08 pm at his residence. He was born on January 4, 1975 in Columbia City, Indiana. Joseph parents are John and Bonnie (Hamilton) Prater Johnson. He married Tara Popenfoose on March 15, 1993 they divorced in 2007.He worked for Flint Ink in Warsaw in production,shipping and receiving for 15 years.Survivor are a son Joseph Duane Prater, a daughter Madison Rose Prater both of Warsaw; 3 brothers Adam (Amber) Prater of Silver Lake, Indiana; Eric (Tina) Prater of Wabash, Indiana and Jonathan (Clare) Prater of Houston, Texas; a sister Mellisa Sue Cupp of Warsaw; his mother Bonnie Sue (Roy Andrew) Johnson of Warsaw his father John (Ruth) Prater of Centerville, MO. Joseph also had a lifetime friend Peter Pencga of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.He was a avid Hunter and he enjoyed wood working, gun collecting, paintball and NASCAR. Calling hours will be 5-8 pm Friday and 12 to 3 pm Saturday on May 29th and 30th. Burial will be at a later date. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
