Joseph “Joe” F. Cosgrove Jr.

Joseph “Joe” F. Cosgrove Jr., age 65, of Silver Lake, IN, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 6:37 p.m. in Akron, IN . Joseph was born on April 24, 1954 in Warsaw, IN to Joseph F. Sr. and Regina (Waterson) Cosgrove. He married Debra Huggins on September 2, 2004 in Bloomington, IN. Joseph lived in Kosciusko County most of his life. He worked as a print press operator, retiring from R. R. Donnelly. Joseph enjoyed sports including, baseball, football, basketball and enjoyed running. He was a volunteer worker at Magical Meadows for the past 10 years and loved working with the children and adults. He was a member of Spirit of Faith Fellowship, Goshen, IN and Cowboy Church at Magical Meadows, Warsaw. He is survived by his wife Debra Cosgrove of Silver Lake, IN, sons; Joseph F. (Kirstin) Cosgrove III of Fallbrook, CA, Nathan (Jessica) Cosgrove of Hemet, CA, step-children; Saun (Tatiana) Miller and Shae Miller both of Millersburg, IN, 4 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, siblings; Greg (Diana) Cosgrove of Lee Summit, MO, Jean (Mitch) Brown of Warsaw, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Bill & Mark Cosgrove. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Magical Meadows. Pastor Carl Adams will be officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
