Joseph Hidlebaugh

Joseph Hidlebaugh, age 74, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:27 a.m. in his residence. Joseph was born January 5, 1947 in Mattoon, Illinois to Clarence and Elizabeth (Fiorentino) Hidlebaugh. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Wisely on June 29, 1974 in Mattoon, Illinois who preceded him in death on September 19, 2020. He proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for 36 years. He worked as a printer for R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Warsaw, retiring with 35 years of service.  Joseph was a member of the American Legion #49 – Warsaw, and he was a Ham Radio Operator for the Warsaw Amateur Radio Club. Joseph is survived by children; Joel (Angela) Hidlebaugh of Warsaw, Kendra (Derek) Pike of Leesburg, Jeremiah Hidlebaugh of Warsaw; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 6 sisters; Fran, Lana, Maria, Liz, Melody, and Ida.  A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel with his son, Jeremiah Hidlebaugh officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with military honors rendered by Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126. Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required.  The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
