Jose Carmen Nunez Barcenas

Jose Carmen Nunez Barcenas, 89 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 6:18 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. On January 24, 1924, he was born in Guanajuato, Mexico to Conrado Nunez Pina and Maria Trinidad Barcenas. He was united in marriage to Maria Fortunata Sauza Mendoza in 1962 in Guanajuato, Mexico. She preceded him in death on October 10, 2008. Jose worked on a Ranch in Texas before moving to Warsaw in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Warsaw, Indiana. He is survived by nine daughters, Maribel Nunez, Warsaw, Rosario Nunez, Warsaw, Guadalupe Nunez, Mexico, Maria Nunez, Mexico, Eva Nunez, Mexico, Maria Nunez, Mexico, Mercedes Nunez, Mexico, Adela Nunez, Mexico and Carmela Nunez, Mexico; six sons, Jesus Nunez, Warsaw, Jose Nunez, Warsaw, Gustavo Nunez, Warsaw, Rigoberto Nunez, Warsaw, Manuel Nunez, Mexico and Julion Nunez, Mexico; one brother, Pedro Nunez, Mexico; one sister, Luisa Nunez, Mexico and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Warsaw with Father Constantino Rocha officiating. Burial will be in Pantion Munisipal, Guanajuato, Mexico. Visitation hours will be from 10:00 - 1:00 pm Saturday. December 14, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
