Jonna D. Stahl, 85, of Pierceton, passed away at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw, on January 1, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born on January 13, 1940 in Warsaw, Jonna was the beloved daughter of John and Betty (Cook) Rapp. After graduating she met the love of her life Dean Stahl in 1958 at the Milnot Creamery. They shared over 36 years together making memories and raising their children.
Jonna was a self-employed house keeper for many years. She had been a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Warsaw and there she taught Sunday school. She was very active in the church, participating in all she could. Recently she attended the First Baptist church of Warsaw with her son and daughter-in-law. She was a very active member of the Salvation Army. She most enjoyed her time serving as a bell ringer for them.
Jonna was a very kind and generous person and loved sharing with everyone. She also could be a little mischievous at times. She lived a life well blessed with love and compassion for all.
Jonna is survived by her daughter; Teresa Coleman of Warsaw, her son; Doug (Crystal) Stahl of Pierceton, her grandchildren; Autumn Stahl-Coleman, Chad (Erika) Coleman, Cody Coleman, Alexander Coleman, Amy (Chad) Berg, Tara Holbrook, Nicholas Stahl, Blake Stahl, Zacharia Stahl, Christoper Stahl, Isaiah Stahl, Trenton Stahl, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean, 2 sisters, one brother, and one great grandson.
A visitation in honor of Jonna will be held on Wednesday , January 7, 2026, from 5-7 pm at McHattton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11 am with Pastor Bill Carney officiating.
Per her family’s request, Memorial donations in Jonna’s honor be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1720 E. Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
