Johnny L. Belcher

Our beloved Johnny L. Belcher, 54, passed away on Friday September 11, 2026 at Canterbury Nursing Home and Rehab in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Johnny was born on December 1, 1971, in Warsaw, Indiana to Jerry L. and Sandra K. (Wolfe) Belcher. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School with the class of 1990.

On October 27, 1990, in Warsaw, Johnny took as his wife, Angela Renschler and they would welcome a son and a daughter. They were blessed with 38 years of love, trials, laughs and memories.

Johnny worked for Mike Gill’s Junkyard for 13 years and then for ABC Bus Company.

He was a family man with a kind soul who wanted to help anyone he could. A motor head, Johnny loved Harley motorcycles, going to car shows for low riders and anything Ford. You didn’t dare talk about a Chevrolet. Angie and he loved motorcycle rides, taking many trips and doing special event rides with friends and family. He was part of the Warsaw bowling community for several years. He treasured family functions and vacations, going camping with loved ones and friends and backpacking with his wife. The family obsession with coasters began in 1989 at Cedar Point, and grew to fun yearly trips as their family and friendships grew.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Angie, of Warsaw, and their daughter, Mallory Ashcraft of Calhan, CO; his mother, Sandra, of Warsaw; his sister Teresa Belcher of Warsaw; two grandchildren, Memarie and Lyla Ashcraft; and many nieces and nephews, far too many to name, that he adored and cherished.

Johnny was welcomed into heaven by his son, Jerry L.C. Belcher, who passed in 2013, and his father, Jerry Belcher, who passed in 2000.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, in the funeral chapel with Pastor Hedgel Perry officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior.
