John E. Eaton, age 72, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 7:27 a.m. at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. Born on January 1, 1949  in South Bend, Indiana.  John was the son of Virgil and Betty (King) Eaton. He was united in marriage to Connie Blakely on February 1, 2003 in Syracuse, Indiana. He was a graduate of Jackson High School in South Bend, Indiana and continued his education at Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana. He was a retired sales associate for Ace Hardware Store and was formerly employed in sales for Bremen Castings. John enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved woodworking and tinkering in the garage. He was a strong man of faith and loved to tell of his Jesus. He was a member of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. John is survived by his wife Connie Eaton of Warsaw; children: Sarah (Tracy) Soper of Brownsburg, Rachel (Jack Penry) Brown of Nappanee, Kayla (Ammon) Davis of Warsaw, Doug Blakely of Warsaw, and Marty Haupert of Wabash. He was also survived by his sister, Linda Fourman of Greenville, OH and his grandchildren; Kade, Tyler, Mason, Heidi, Killian, Mera, Jonathan, Jared and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his first wife, Patricia Eaton, granddaughter Sarah Haupert, and son-in-law Rod Haupert. A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 14, 2021 at the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church 210 S. High St. Warsaw with a celebration of life to follow immediately at the church. Reverend Aaron Klein will be officiating the services. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw have been entrusted with all arrangements for the family.
