John P DiRico

John P. DiRico, 61, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne.

Born on December 7, 1964, in Everett Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of Alfredo and Giovanna (D’Angelo) DiRico.

He has been a lifetime resident of Warsaw since 1978. After growing up in Warsaw, he graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1982. On July 3, 1999, John married his sweetheart Elaine (Faurote) DiRico.

He was employed at Center Motor Sales in Warsaw from 1982-2012. He continued his career in the maintenance department at Miller’s Merry Manor from 2014-2023.

John enjoyed watching action movies, with Star Wars being one of his all-time favorites. John especially looked forward to visiting his nephews and nieces in Warsaw, Columbus, IN, Kentucky and New Jersey and his great nephew Luca. He was known to be an avid fan of all the Boston Pro Sports Teams.

He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Warsaw Community Church.

John is survived by his loving wife of nearly 27 years, Elaine DiRico of Warsaw, mother Giovanna, his brothers: Frank (Donna) DiRico, Fred DiRico, sister: Madeline (Roger) DiRico Burkholder all of Warsaw; sister-in-law Valerie (Dirk) Rader of Columbus, IN, brother-in-law Steve Faurote, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Alfredo, brother Patrick DiRico, and sister-in-law Sherri Lyn DiRico.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted with the care of John. Friends may join his family for his viewing on Tuesday April 14, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Services will be held immediately after at 1:00 pm with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw.
