John A. Eich

John A. Eich, 78 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 4:00 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on June 17, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Albert and Martha (Peters) Eich. He married Patricia Kantner in May of 1965. He was a US Marine veteran. John retired from Toledo Edison as a Lineman. He was a member of the local Union 245 for 52 years. John is survived by his children, Matthew R. Eich of Bryan, Ohio; Teresa A. (Steve) Palmero of Knoxville, Tennessee; Thomas J. Eich of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Anne M. (Brent) Hug of Fort Wayne, Indiana; James R. (Jeanie) Eich of Woodburn, Indiana and Christopher J. Eich of Montpelier, Ohio; brothers, Stephen (Sue) Eich of Swanton, Ohio and Joseph (Sharon) Eich of Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Judy McIntyre of Corona, California, Mary Riddle of Maumee, Ohio and Jane Eich of Corona, California; numerous grand and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son and one sister. There will be a celebration of John’s life at a later date.No burial is planned.
