She was born January 1, 1953 in Syracuse, IN to Wayne Jay and Arlene Lodonna (Green) Mock. She was Warsaw, IN resident since 1994 and formerly resided in Syracuse, IN. Shewas employed by Veada Industries of New Paris, IN as a Line Supervisor, On September 14, 1996 in Warsaw, IN she was united in marriage to Lawrence J. Steger. She is survived by husband Larry Steger; daughters Michelle Wood of North Webster, IN, Tina Poyser of New Paris, IN; sons James (spouse Anita) Poyser of Atwood, IN, Christopher (spouse Terri) Poyser of Warsaw, IN; sisters Marge (spouse Chuck) Mabie, Gloria (spouse Dick) Mabie, Norma (spouse Harold) George, Carolyn Krum,; brothers Fred (spouse Becky) Mock, Steve (spouse Fran) Mock, Bruce (spouse Beverly) Mock, Doug (spouse Jan) Mock, Rodney (spouse Vickie) Mock, Alan Mock; grandchildren Bret Wood, Adrianne Morris, Bekha Mikel, Tyler Poyser, Erika Poyser Jhonathan Poyser, Victoria Poyser, Matthew Poyser. She was preceded by 1 sister and 4 brothers. Services will be held Monday, August 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. Calling hours are scheduled for 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday. Interment services will be private. Pastor Kirk Barger of Calvary Baptist Church Oswego, IN will officiate the services.
