Joanne K Rife

WARSAW- Joanne K. Rife, 81, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw.

Born on February 3, 1942 in Warsaw, Indiana, Joanne was the daughter of Lloyd and Evelyn (Falconbury) Atchison. She graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1960.

She married Dan Rife but the couple would divorce in 1980.

Joanne worked for Lear in Bourbon prior to its closing, and in sales at Kline’s Department Store in Warsaw.

She was a very nice and kind lady and friendly to everyone she met. Joanne was an animal lover.

She is survived by her sister Donna Garber; step - daughters, Angie Reed and Jody Yeazl; and nephews: Frank and Jack Garber and Brad Atchison.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Atchison.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N. Maple Avenue, Warsaw.
