Jo Ann Pound

Jo Ann Reed Pound, 84, a long-time resident of Kosciusko county, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 7:39 p.m. in Winona Lake, IN. She was born on February 16, 1935 to Ronald and Doris (Grant) Reed in Plymouth, IN. She was united in marriage on November 3, 1954 to Loren J. Pound. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1953. She was a full-time homemaker and helped to manage the Pound family farm. She was a true helpmate to Loren. She was a member of the Leesburg Methodist church for many years, serving in various capacities. She loved her family and the family farm. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Loren Pound, daughters; Terrie (Stan) Trout of Fort Wayne, IN, Karen (Doug) Conley, of Westerville, OH, Linda (Jim) Howard of Leesburg, IN, a son; Jeff Pound of Leesburg, IN, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition, Jo Ann is survived by 2 bothers; Max Reed of Warsaw, IN, and Robert Reed of Chicago, IL, formerly having resided in Syracuse, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great grandson. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Chaplain Bryan Benjamin will officiate the service in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
