Jimmie Allen, 80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died on 12/12/2010 at 8:35 pm at The Waters of Summit City, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on January 8, 1930 in Salyersville, Kentucky. Jimmie was the son of Woods and Delphie Allen. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County.He married Dottie Conley in Salyersville, Kentucky in 1972. He worked as a truck driver for Big Boy Products, Warsaw for 17 years and was also a member of the First United Baptist Church, Pierceton.He is survived by 2 Daughters; Shirley Mae (and spouse Robert Lee) Scott, TippecanoePauline (and spouse John) Vegar, Warsaw3 Sons; Nero (and spouse Linda) Allen, WarsawMonroe (and spouse Pauley) Allen, ClaypoolLonzo (and spouse Sadie) Allen, Kenton, Ohio9 Grandchildren13 Great-GrandchildrenJimmie was preceded in death by his Wife, 2 Brothers, 1 Son and 2 Daughters. Services will be held at First United Baptist Church, Pierceton, Indiana on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the CHURCH. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
