Jesse Roberts

Jesse Roberts, 86, of Warsaw, died Monday October 31, 2022.

He was born in Erwin, Tennessee, the son of (the late) Walter and Maude (Collins) Roberts. Jesse was a retired furniture builder, working at Korth Furniture and later opening his own shop.

On October 20, 1996, Jesse married Clara (Baker) Roberts, who preceded him in death on October 27, 2020 after 24 years of marriage. Jesse loved the time he spent with family & friends, reminiscing and sharing stories; he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing or tending to his horses. He is survived by his step-daughters, Kathy Garris (Randy) Marshall and Deb (Mark) Alexander, both of Warsaw; his sisters, Shirley Ratliff of Telford TN, Betty (Howard) Gentry of Crawfordsville and a host of nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Jesse was also preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Roberts, Jim Roberts, J.C. Roberts, Link Roberts and his sister, Helen Green.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm Monday November 7, 2022 at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Ct. Private burial will take place in Cook’s Chapel Cemetery.
