Jerry J Kelly, 85, with the love of his family by his side, went to Heaven on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 in his home.
Lifetime Warsaw resident, Jerry was born on August 2, 1941 to Harold and Mildred (Norris) Kelly. He graduated with the class of 1959 from Warsaw High School.
He married the love of his life, Vivian Leek, in Warsaw on October 29, 1961. They were blessed with two children and 65 years of laughs and remembrances.
Soon after high school he began his 34 ½ year employment for Zimmer, retiring in 1994 as a supervisor. Jerry then worked for Osborn Manufacturing, retiring officially in 2008.
Jerry was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge #1423 and the Elks Lodge #802. He was an avid fisherman, and the couple wintered in Port Charlotte, Florida for 13 years. He was a meticulous woodworker and loved watching westerns and game shows. Jerry, jokingly amongst family and friends, was a crusty shell with a big soft heart. He adored his family as well as his Maltese, Crisco.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian, son, Scott (Maryola) Kelly, and daughter, Aimee (Jim) Kintzel, all of Warsaw; 5 grandchildren: Spencer Kelly, Chad Kintzel, Elton Keller, Justin Keller and Erin Kintzel; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place with no formal services.
Memorial contributions can be sent to Animal Welfare League, 1048 S. 325 E., Pierceton, IN 46562.
