Jenna Underwood

Jenna M. Underwood, age 98, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday August 22, 2012 at 4:45 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw, IN. She was born September 25, 1913 in Gassaway, WV to Hayes and Florence (Chenoweth) Friend. She was formerly of Dayton, OH and Port Charlotte, FL moving to Warsaw in 2007. She was employed by the office of Dr. Allen March as X-Ray Technician for 30 years and retired in the same occupation from the Dayton Ohio Veteran’s Administration Hospital in 1968. She was united in marriage to Carl E. Underwood on November 22, 1977 in Covington, KY. Carl preceded her in May of 1992. Jenna is survived by sons E.J. (spouse Peg) Underwood of Winona Lake, IN and John Thomas of Dayton, OH; daughter Jacqualin Orme of Vandalia, OH; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and was also preceded by a daughter Carol Ann Underwood. Calling hours are scheduled for 2:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday August 25, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN.
