Jeanette Burt

Jeanette Burt, age 81, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at 7:45 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. Jeanette was born on June 13, 1938 in Hastings, Michigan to Alvin Morgan and Josephine (Rose) Christensen. She was united in marriage to Raymond L Burt on December 9, 1961. She lived at Dewart Lake for over 40 years and was a resident of Warsaw the remainder of her life. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and crocheting. She loved spending time with her faithful Furry Friend, Teddy. Survivors include children, Robert Blankenship of Harford City, IN, Vickie (Rodney) Reese of Wasilla, AK, Becky (Ronald) Ratterree of Wasilla, AK, Annett Gutierrez of La Porte, IN, Lanett Lemaster of Warsaw, IN; brother, Alvin (Nancy) Morgan of Nashville, MI. In addition, she is survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond L. Burt; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation hours are scheduled from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with her Memorial Service following at 1:00 PM in the Funeral Chapel.  Pastor Jeff Pfeifer will officiate the service.  Interment will follow immediately at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
