Jean H. McHatton, age 95, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 5:50 AM Wednesday September 5, 2012 in Miller’s Merry Manor Warsaw, IN. She was born July 5, 1917 in Marshall County, Indiana to Andrew J. and Ruby (Heisler) Hall. She was a Warsaw, IN resident since 1949 was formerly of Akron, IN. She was a 1935 graduate of Bourbon High School. On July 25, 1937 she was united in marriage to Gerald McHatton in Akron. Gerald preceded her on March 8, 2000. She was Co-Owner of McHatton Funeral Home and Ambulance Service Warsaw, IN from 1955 to 1971. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Warsaw where she served as a Ladies Circle Leader, a former member and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a former DAR member, the Warsaw Junior Homemakers Club. She is survived by daughters Nancy (spouse Ted) Beer of Leesburg, IN, Judy (spouse Don) Wray of Warsaw, IN, Barbara (spouse John) Knipp of Fort Wayne, IN; a sister Jennie Green of Warsaw, IN; grandchildren Dawn (fiancé Jay Paul) Allen of Warsaw, IN,Daniel (spouse Ginger) Wray of Warsaw, IN, Jason (spouse Kristi) Beer of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Kristin (spouse Matt) Coffey of Indianapolis, IN, Michael (spouse Rachel Mathis) Knipp of Fort Wayne, IN; 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband 2 brothers preceded her. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday September 8, 2012 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. Calling hours will be Friday September 7, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw, IN.
