Jean G. Dungan, 92, of Cameron Woods Senior Living Center, Angola, and Lake Tippecanoe, Leesburg, and formerly of Indianapolis passed away on December 15, 2014. She was born in Centerville, Ohio, to Donald and Ethel Gravenstine. Her brother Lt. Col. Donald Joe Gravenstine preceded her in death. Married to Samuel O. Dungan II, deceased, president of Polk Sanitary Milk Company of Indianapolis. She was a life member of KCH Auxiliary, P.E.O. of Warsaw, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority at Franklin College. She brought the first Decorators Showhouse to Indianapolis Saint Margarets Guild. She enjoyed gardening, reading, bingo, and especially playing bridge at Tippecanoe Lake County Club. Surviving are her loving children; Nancy (Mike) Tynan of Indianapolis, Dorene (Don) Scheimann of Fremont, and Samuel O. (Laurie) Dungan III of Poipu, Kauai, HI. Grandchildren; Jeff (Terri) Tynan, Scott (Lynette) Tynan, Peg (Keith) Schreiber, Becky (Kevin) Seiler, Lachlan Dungan, Aidan Dungan, and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the Gothic Chapel of Crown Hill Cemetery, 34th Street Gate, Indianapolis, IN. on Saturday, December 20, at 11:00 AM. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, IN is entrusted with arrangements.
