Jean C. Cushman

Jean C. Cushman, age 81, of Plymouth, IN and formerly of Warsaw, IN passed away Saturday March 3, 2012 at 3:05 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor Warsaw, IN. She was born September 21, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI. to Henry and Elizabeth (Schmitt) Barnes. Moving to Warsaw in 1995, then relocated to Plymouth, IN in 2001.She was a homemaker and member of St. Michaels Catholic Church Plymouth and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church Warsaw were she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Jean is survived by her daughters Jane Serovy of Warsaw, IN, Carol Clark of Portage, IN and Helen (spouse Steve) Lorah of East Liverpool, OH; a son Tom Cushman of Charleston, SC; a brother James Barnes of Milwaukee, WI. In addition, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild survive. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday March 8, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Warsaw, IN. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM.In addition, calling will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Father Phil DeVolder will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery Plymouth, IN at 1:30 PM Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to:Sacred Heart Church or School 125 N.
