James R. 'Smiley' Guyse, 54, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 12/26/2009 at 3:07 pm at his residence. He was born on October 29, 1955 in Marshall County, Indiana. James was born to Robert Leo and Sara Catherine (Wilson) Guyse. He attended Lakeville High School and served in the Indiana National Guard. He has lived in the Kosciusko County area for the last 15 plus years. James married Nancy Engstrand on June 27, 1998 in Warsaw. He worked as a fabricator for Union Tool, Warsaw. James was a member of the VFW Post #1162, Plymouth and Abate Region #1, Kosciusko County.James is survived by his Wife; Nancy Guyse, Warsaw, IndianaSon; Tyler Hartel, MichiganStep-Son; Justin Donovan, Warsaw, Indiana2 Step-Daughters; Jodi Reynolds, Warsaw,IndianaNicole Duttin, Warsaw, Indiana5 Sisters; Linda (and spouse Bill) Unruh, North Judson, IndianaRoberta (and spouse Sam) Barnett, Walkerton, IndianaChris Koehn, Plymouth, IndianaJudy Ouellette, Walkerton, IndianaDonna Guyse, Plymouth, Indianaand many Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.He is preceded in death by his Mom, Dad, 1 Son and 1 Sister.James had a love for wrenching on bikes, his buddies and his dog Roady. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at tthe funeral chapel on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
