James R. Craig, age 70, of Warsaw, IN passed away Wednesday August 24, 2011 at 1:45 PM in his residence. He was born December 27, 1940 in Kosciusko County, IN to Robert G. and Frances E. (Benton) Craig. Jim was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army and Indiana National Guard from 1964 to 1968 as Private First Class. On January 16, 1965 he was united in marriage to Carol A. Shaffner. Carol preceded James on June 21, 2005. He was formerly employed by United Telephone System Marketing Department, Sears and Roebuck Warsaw Store as a Mechanic, formerly owned CJ’s Shoe Store and Craig Marathon Station both of Warsaw and is currently employed as a Fleet Mechanic for the Warsaw Police Department. He was a member of Warsaw Masonic Lodge #73, Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine Temple Fort Wayne, IN, Kosciusko County Shrine Club, Warsaw Moose and Warsaw Elk’s Club and was a longtime member and patron of Breading’s Cigar Store, Warsaw. Jim is survived by daughters Cindy (spouse Dane) Ronk of Warsaw, IN, Amy (spouse Clark) Cummins of Indianapolis, IN; brothers Jerry (spouse Connie) Craig and Bob (spouse Pat) Craig both of Warsaw, IN and grandchildren Ashley and Craig Ronk and Cameron and Chloe Cummins. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 am officiated by The Very Reverend Brian Grantz and The Reverend Corinne Hodges. Visitation will be held at St. Anne’s on Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Masonic Memorial Service by Warsaw Masonic Lodge #73 at 7:30 PM.
