James P. Berner, Jr

James P. Berner JR, age 58, of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 12:18 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw. James was born on January 1, 1961 in Warsaw, Indiana to James P. and Paula Ann (Smith) Berner, SR. He was united in marriage to Sharon DeVille on September 10, 2016 at Ridinger Lake in Kosciusko County Indiana. James lived his lifetime as a resident in Pierceton, Indiana. He worked as a machinist for Paragon Medical Inc. Pierceton for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #258 in Pierceton and the Sons of the American Legion. James is survived by Sharon Berner of Pierceton, IN; children, Laura (Jeremiah) Tucker of Columbia City, IN, James P. Berner, III of Warsaw, IN, Tyler Berner of Claypool, IN; step-children, Sarah (Dewey) Reimer of Pierceton, IN, Brian Stratton of Warsaw, IN, Stephanie (Zachary) Lee of Pierceton, IN; father, James P. (Marilyn) Berner of Warsaw, IN; brother, Michael (Katie D’Alessio) Berner of Glendale, AZ, sister, Susan (Loren) Burch of Warsaw, IN; in addition, he is survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, and great -grandson, Tatum Berner. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.  Services will be private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with his care.
