James “Jimmy” D. Heeter

James, “Jimmy” D. Heeter, 65, of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his residence. Born on January 16, 1957, in Warsaw, Indiana, Jimmy was the son of Ronald D. and Mrytle M. (Tackett) Heeter. He was formerly employed as a street sweeper for the City of Warsaw and retired from the Warsaw Foundry with 18 years of service in the shipping and receiving department. Jimmy is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Linda Riley of Warsaw; siblings: Loretta Carpenter, Warsaw, Cheryl Pitts, Palestine, Rhonda Utter, Rochester, Joan Evans, Warsaw, Donald Heeter, Palestine, Ronald Heeter, Pierceton, Vickie Halloway, Warsaw and Melvin Heeter, Rochester; six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in passing by both parents, a daughter Sandra Heeter, one sister, Charlotte Amburgy, and a grandson, Logan Heeter. A visitation is planned from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Monday January 24, 2022, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw with a funeral service in celebration of Jimmy’s life to begin at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Karla Quiroz will officiate the services.
