James “Jim” C. Shepherd

James “Jim” C. Shepherd died suddenly November 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born on February 26, 1962 to Johnie and Jackelene (Warrix) Shepherd. Jim graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in 1980. He was employed by Medtronics from 1999 to 2009, Summit Aeronautics, Helena, MT from 2009 to 2011 and most recently, Pargon Medical from 2011 to the present as a machinist. He was a member of the N.R.A. Jim was preceded in death by his father Johnie Shepherd. He is survived by Jackelene Shepherd (mother), Dylan Shepherd (son), James Tinder (stepson), Jessica (Sam) Chandadai (stepdaughter), Travis Bays (stepson), and Ayden Gaerte (stepson). He is also survived by his brother John (Sandy) Shepherd, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and hunter. He loved spending time on his boat(s) or golf cart. Jim spent many years in California & Montana. He spent the majority of his life in Indiana. In his younger years he ran track, played the guitar, and rode motorcycles. In addition, he was an avid gardener. Visitation hours are scheduled for Monday, November 23, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Public Graveside Services will be held Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 12:00 PM in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN. Bob Jarboe will officiate.
