James H. Slone

James H. Slone age 42, passed away in his home on Thursday August 14th, 2014 in Pierceton, IN. On January 13,1972 James was born to Harry D. and Virginia Kay (Meadows) Slone in Oberlin, OH. He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. James worked at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake IN in the Housekeeping Department and was caregiver for many residents. He was an animal lover and an avid electronic hobbyist. He is survived by his mother Kay Slone and her companion Gene Coverstone, Pierceton, IN; his sister Anita (Jason) Sheneman, Claypool, IN; his brother Matthew (Abigail) Slone, Pierceton, IN; his nephew Anthony Sheneman, Claypool, IN; his niece Brittnee Sheneman, Pierceton, IN and a grand niece Dena Marie Shelton , Pierceton, IN. His Father Harry Slone preceded James in death in 1996. Visitation hours will he held on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton, IN.
