James G. Outcelt

James G. Outcelt, age 89, of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 9:10 PM Tuesday November 6, 2012 in his residence. He was born September 14, 1923 in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Jacob A. and Mary B. (VanCuren) Outcelt. He was a lifetime Kosciusko County, IN resident. On April 24, 1943 in Bourbon, IN he was united in marriage to Illa Wilson who preceded him September 4, 1986. He was a United States Postal Service Mail Carrier for the Pierceton Post Office from 1973 to 1989 and was also self-employed as a Farmer. His memberships include the Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, the Moose and Eagles Lodges both of Warsaw, IN, the North Webster American Legion Post #253 and was a past Board Member for the Farm Bureau Co-Op of Warsaw. Survivors include his son Jay (spouse Carol) Outcelt of Warsaw, IN; a daughter Elaine Warren of Leesburg, IN; a sister Margaret (spouse Bob) Goff of Florida; grandchildren Dallas Keserovic, Jacob (spouse Micki) Outcelt, James (spouse Sherry) Koser and several great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Pierceton, IN. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 13, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel. Pastor Holly White will officiate the services. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery Pierceton.
