James A Cormican, 78, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his home.
James was born November 16, 1945 in Frankfort, Indiana the son of the late Delbert and Mary (Wyant) Cormican. He was united in marriage to Frances O. Earl on March 6, 1965 in Warsaw, Indiana who survives.
He was the owner operator of Central Transportation and was a truck driver for 27 plus years. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He was well known for his woodworking skills, building 3 gun cabinets and a pantry with a slide out. James was a member of the NRA, American Legion of Pierceton and a Teamster.
James will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years Frances Cormican of Kingsford Heights, daughter Roberta Ann Bush of LaPorte, and son Keith Eugene Cormican, 2 grandchildren, Ashley Bush and JC Allen Bush, and 2 great grandchildren, Miranda and Colton Francis . In addition to his parents, he was preceded by one son, Robert James Cormican, a grandson Christopher A. Cormican, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice Care for their compassion with James’ care along with Kyle of Frontier for assisting with the phones.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday February 8th at 12:00 Noon at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Pastor Richard Hoffman officiating. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
